I started off sketching out a rough design in Microsoft paint. The initial ideas where very simple and featured the band on the front cover. The lead singer is looking at the camera where as the rest of the band are facing away from the camera. However on the back of the digipak I had the female facing away from the camera and the rest of the band mates looking forwards into the camera lens. This idea was to reveal the importance or significance of the female singer and how the band mates aren’t quite as dominant in the band.
When developing the final digipak I was inspired by various different pieces of artwork, this photograph produced by Andy Warhol helped me to develop the inside panel in which the bands portraits would be.
